Ministry
Opportunities
At Community God has blessed us with a strong representation of all age groups! We are grateful for God's grace in this as we see His Word working in and through our members whether it's through a children's Sunday School class, an Adult Bible Fellowship or our Senior Saints gatherings.
Children
Our children's classes emphasize raising up our children in the instruction of the Word! We are blessed with a rotation of loving teachers who work through an Answers in Genesis curricula with our kids throughout the year.
Youth
Our youth group time is geared towards scripture reading and discussion as we emphasize the discipleship and sanctification of our young adults.
Adults
Our Adult Bible Fellowships are an exceptional time to receive deeper and more focused teaching on specific studies or books of the Bible. Sign ups will be available at our Welcome Center as we offer several different classes each year.
CBCS
We are blessed to have a growing Christian School associated with our Church! Functioning as our largest ministry arm, CBCS gives us an incredible year round impact into our South Bend community. Upward Soccer
Two years ago we started up a Spring Upward Soccer league on our premises. We have seen incredible interest and growth in this ministry over a short time span, and are looking forward to see how God uses this unique avenue of sport for His gospel work. Missions
We support an incredible group of missionaries around the globe. God has been gracious and allowed our support to include not just financial assistance, but personal, medical and work trips over the years as well. Ministry Outreach
Want to get involved?
At CBC we teach and encourage active membership. Church is not an organization where we gather to experience passive consumption. Rather, we look to scripture and see the church portrayed as a body with many members, all of which are critical to the function, activity and health of the body. It's through the preaching of scripture, gathered worship, and the active use of spiritual gifts within our members that we are able to see on display the "manifold wisdom of God". (Eph 3:10)

Worship Services
We have many in our church who are gifted with music, and play during worship or specials. If you have a gifting and desire to minister in this way, find Pastor Ben for further details and information.
Nursery Ministry
God has graciously blessed our church body with many littles! There is always room for assistance in this ministry. Please reach out to our church office for further info on how to minister with our youngest age group.
Kids Sunday Schools
We have a number of SS classes for our kids based on age. If you would like to get active in raising the next generation, reach out to Pastor Matt Tracy who serves as our SS coordinator. We have several parents who teach our kids classes on a monthly rotation to ensure you still get time with the adult ABF's during the year as well.
Church Events
Keep an eye on our calendar and on the bulletin as we progress through the year. We have several church events we host whether it's VBS, Family Fun Fair, or our Upward Soccer program. Many hands are needed in order for these gospel endeavors to be successful!
Facilities Upkeep
We have several members who volunteer time with the upkeep and care of our Facilities. If you are skilled in hands-on work and desire to help in this area, let one of our staff know and we will point you to the right person to get plugged in.
