Pastor Ben Jacquot

I was born into a pastor’s family and spent the first 6 years of my life in Tulsa, Oklahoma where my dad was an assistant pastor. As a young child I heard the gospel frequently, but thought that “getting saved” was just something that a Christian did as part of the church culture. However, the Lord began to work in my heart to help me realize that the reason that I needed to be saved had nothing to do with being in a Christian family or a good church, but rather because I was a sinner who needed grace and forgiveness from God. As a result, my dad led me to the Lord as a child. It was at that time that I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior.

In 2001, our family moved from Oklahoma to Lake Wylie, SC where my dad began pastoring a church in a suburb of Charlotte, NC. It was through the experience of growing up in a pastor’s home and seeing how the Lord uses pastoral ministry that the Lord began burdening my own heart for pastoral ministry. In 2012 I received a B.A. in Bible.  I am currently working on my M.A. in Historical Theology from Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary.

I love reading, collecting antique hymnals, everything coffee, the Carolina Panthers, and Tarheels basketball. In ministry I love being able to minister God's Word through teaching and preaching, as well as relational discipleship. I also have a passion for corporate worship.
